Raksystems boosts its repair planning and property development expertise by acquiring HSSR
Finland’s largest condition evaluation and indoor air company has boosted its repair planning and property development expertise by acquiring Helsingin Seudun Suunnittelu- ja Rakennuttajapalvelu HSSR Oy. The acquisition was closed at 10 July 2019. HSSR is a well-known influencer in the renovation industry in the Helsinki metropolitan region, which adds more than 30 experts to the Raksystems planning and development unit of some fifty people.
After the acquisition, pro forma net sales of the Raksystems Group will exceed €36 million in 2019, and the Group will employ 330 people. Operating in Finland and Sweden, the Group will provide even better service to property owners throughout the lifecycle of their buildings. HSSR will continue as a subsidiary of Raksystems.
“HSSR is an excellent addition to the Raksystems Group. We have promoted our repair planning and property development operations for several years now, and managed to establish an excellent clientele. With its great reputation among professionals of the industry and customers, HSSR offers the group more experienced experts and good customer relations,” says Marko Malmivaara, the Managing Director of Raksystems Insinööritoimisto Oy.
Established by its owners, HSSR is an expert company specialising in renovation consultation in the Helsinki metropolitan region and the province of Uusimaa. In 2018, the company’s net sales amounted to €3.8 million.
“The cooperation with the management of Raksystems has been excellent from the very beginning. The atmosphere among the Group’s employees seems to be relaxed but proficient. I had a fantastic ride while managing my own business for almost fifteen years, and now I’m eager to continue the story of HSSR under the wings of Raksystems. I believe that the companies can create excellent synergies for both the customers and the employees,” says Anssi Väätäinen, the founder and Managing Director of HSSR.
The Raksystems Group will continue to actively seek for new partners to promote its status by means of acquisitions and organic growth in order to respond to the growing customer demands. In addition to Finland, the Raksystems Group is searching for growth companies that suit its Nordic business model to support its expansion into the leading property wellbeing expert in the Nordic countries.
